University of Akron Institute for Human Science and Culture Renovation – General Trades Package

Role: General Trades Subcontractor
Scope: We were the General Contractor for the basement and 1^st floor renovation of this building in 2010 and in 2019 we performed the General Trades Package for the 3^rd and 4^th floor renovation.  The interior renovations included removal of a structural concrete slab to create a 2 story atrium at the new grand staircase.  Our scope included selective demolition, structural steel, fireproofing, drywall, and finishes including reclaimed wood accent walls using donated material.   The exterior renovation included new structural framing and masonry at window openings.
